Upright Japanese Yew has dark green foliage which emerges light green in spring. The fine textured leaves remain dark green during the winter-a welcome respite in the dreariness of winter! Showy red berries display from early to late fall. The peeling brown bark adds an interesting dimension to the landscape. Fruit is not edible.
