Redwing Cranberrybush is compact ornamental native to Minnesota, also commonly know as highbush cranberry. This shrub has showy clusters of white flowers, which develop into a small red berry. These shrubs are prized by wildlife, nectar for butterflies and bees, and berries for bird and other wildlife. The berries on American Cranberrybush are edible, though quite tart.
